i MiEV - the Electric Mitsubishi car

The Fuel Cell, despite its high potential on various aspects, is an unaccessible technology for us at the moment and it will take from 10 to 15 years for us to see Fuel Cell powered vehicles in the streets.
On the other side of the coin are the electric vehicles and these are a reality, the technology is easy to use, available and the energy is abundant.

While some manufacturers work on the future with the Fuel Cell, others like Mitsubishi are dealing with the present and propose today the MiEV or Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle based on a Mistubishi i.

Let’s take a look at the specification of this vehicle :
A lithium-ion battery linked to an electric motor producing 47Kw and a torque of 180Nm, the top speed is 130Km/h. An autonomy of 130 to 160 kilometres is available after charging the car to 80% (takes from 5 to 7 hours) , far enough for city driving.
