Toyota Auris 2007 (Corolla hatchback) unveiled
Toyota has launched the new Auris in European and Japanese markets which is a hatchback version of the new Corolla which is not yet unveiled.
At launch it will be offered in three and five-door hatchback body styles with a choice of two gas engines (1.4 VVT-i with 97 hp and 1.6 Dual VVT-i with 122 horsepower) and three diesels (1.4 with 89 hp, 2.0 with 124 hp, and 2.2 D-4D with 175 hp), all of which meet Euro IV emissions standards.
A six-speed manual transmission fitted as standard on the 2.0 D-4D 130 and 2.2 D-4D 180 whereas a MultiMode system with paddle shift controls will be available as an option on the 1.4 D-4D 90 and 1.6 Dual VVT-i engines.
